At the end of the day…what I have learned after 3 of the most mind-boggling, gut-wrenching, totally confusing, & painful days….. the prayer is simply…. Thy Will Be Done.
There is so much to happen this week, some of us cannot even sleep and I think it is from the excitement of what to come, not due to the heat. God was strong enough to shut the mouths of the lions and save His servant Daniel. When we need strength, God will give that same strength to us as well. If we have faith even a fraction of Daniel’s, we can face any fear knowing that God is behind us!
I’m so thankful that we got to celebrate this special day with the Fisher Group! Though the candy is all gone now…the memory is priceless!
We covet your prayers always…. but we believe our Sovereign God will make His presence known even through this current tragedy. I have seen God redeem situations that seemed unredeemable. I have seen God move in places that seemed impossible. What is out of our hands…has never left His.
I have learned over the years that everything happens in HIS time. He knows the needs of our community and He knows the hopes/dreams we have for meeting those needs.
It’s our desire & prayer that these past 4 weeks have not only been a lot of fun….but that our lessons filled these sweet children with INCREDIBLE HOPE and gave a better understanding of what Christmas is all about!
For the past several months our Children’s Church has been earning points for their special party – which we held tonight from 5-7:30pm!
