On May 25th, Jose and I celebrated 22 years of marriage. Though we weren’t able to do anything special this year…. We did have a big shindig on our 20th anniversary!
This past week, our “20th Anniversary Party” – popped up on my memory wall on Facebook.
In typical “Castillo-Fashion” I uploaded the pictures from this big celebration 3 years ago – but I never actually posted them. I totally forgot all about it. HAHA! #StoryOfMyLife

For our 20th anniversary- we invited 50 couples (100 people) to our evening party! We went all out – as you can imagine!
We decorated the basketball court with lights, flowers, an arch, Christmas displays, and legit table decorations!
We had 10 servers and a food buffet with everything and anything you could possibly want. For desserts – we had individual cookies, cupcakes, and several 3-tiered cakes. Malaya and Abbey worked tirelessly creating the most delicious and beautiful desserts.
We had dance & song performances, photo shoots, watched funny wedding videos (including part of our actual wedding video), played games with the couples, had a dance competition, and ended the night with fireworks!
It was a hilarious and fun-filled night together in the Mole. We were laughing so hard that our stomachs hurt the next day! We NEEDED that time of fellowship where you have the freedom to forget about all your problems and simply enjoy spending time together!
Everyone commented that following week – that we need more activities for married couples! It was SO much fun and a night we would never forget.
