Majority Rules…..

I was going to try to post something last night but I was so tired that I didn’t get a chance to. I had a great visit with the neurologist in Cincinnati. He was very nice and answered all my questions and concerns. He not only looked at my MRI but also had another Radiologist look at it too. They both agree with the first neurologist!

He told me 100% he believes that there is no need to do more testing. He said that my right side is almost the same as the left side now. So I am getting better and stronger.

He wasn’t really happy with the medications I was taking and he thinks they may have been contributing to the problem. I’ve been feeling so dizzy and so tired and only functioning about 6 hours a day. I was on 4 different medications and he took me off 3 of them. He increased the dose on the one medication I was taking and then he prescribed me another one to help take the edge off those really bad headaches.

We may never really know what happened that night but for now we just have to deal with what is in front of us now. Everything is back to normal but my headaches. I think having all the medications straightened out will help. I was also told it might be a few weeks before the headaches are under control but not to worry because it will eventually happen!

I think the biggest thing that I took home from this appointment was peace! To me that’s priceless! So I’m very grateful to everyone for their prayers! I feel a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders and maybe not worrying about what’s going on with myself alone will help relieve some of the tension in my neck!

Well…..time to get the kids ready for VBS as tonight is the last night! I hadn’t taken Rosie back just because I didn’t want to deal with the lady. Well since I was gone last night to Cincinnati – Jose took her anyways! He said that when he went to pick them up a lady was holding her in the back. He thought – great – here we go again. But this lady was very kind and said she enjoyed loving on little Rosie!

I’m not saying it’s rainbows and sunshine here in the Castillo home – BUT – for the first time in two weeks we are beginning to see some light and believe there is only good things left to come!
