🎄✨ It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly a month since my last post! This time of year is usually my favorite, but it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster as I’ve been battling typhoid AND dengue fever.
Despite it all, my heart is full of gratitude and joy—especially because Malaya arrived safely last week!
Having the whole family together again is the best gift I could ask for. 💖
Meanwhile, the season’s festivities have been thriving! The campus is decked out and glowing like a festive airstrip, and we’ve hosted community movie nights every weekend since Thanksgiving. We also distributed rice, beans, and essentials to families affected by the bus crash.
🎉 Last night was our annual staff party, and we squeezed 30 of our incredible core staff into our living room for an evening of laughter and great food.
Today, we spent hours decorating the church for our all-night orphanage Christmas party. And get this—on New Year’s Eve, we’re hosting *400* community kids from 6:30 PM to midnight on the basketball court! The night will be packed with food booths, games, movies, over 500 prizes, and fireworks. 🎆
Even though I’ve been offline, the ministry hasn’t slowed down one bit. I couldn’t be prouder of our team for stepping up and making this season unforgettable. I’ll be sharing pictures and updates soon, but for now, know that we’re endlessly grateful for your love and support.
This year has brought some of the toughest battles we’ve ever faced, yet here we are. God is faithful, and we trust He has us exactly where He wants us. 🙏❤️
Oh, and about the baby in the photo... Meet Whitney! We first met her in July when she was just 7 months old. Life’s been a whirlwind since then, but let’s just say she may or may not be a new addition. 😉
From our drama-filled crew to yours
Merry Christmas! 🎁✨
Love,
The Castillos
P.S. I REALLY CANNOT WAIT TO BOMBARD YOU WITH THE MOST FUN AND SPIRIT-FILLED PHOTOS FROM THIS PAST MONTH’S MINISTRIES!

Merry Christmas sweet friends!❤️💚❤️
