I found out long ago. It’s a long way down the holiday road…

Well we certainly felt like the Griswold family traveling across country – – but we didn’t have near their drama! 🙂

We spent last week traveling to Kansas where we spent 4 days with our amazing partners –  Global Orphan Project & Pleasant Valley Baptist Church!

We were SO blessed to have meals and fellowship with our friends from the church! We were given the opportunity to speak about the ministry & share about our challenges! We had some amazing meetings with future teams. We learned some valuable information on how we can educate our teens about AIDS. We also met with folks who simply wanted to pour into us! Our schedule was jam-packed and we learned so much!

While Miss Beth, Jose, & I were busy with the adults – PVBC Youth took all our kids! I think they did more with them in 3 days than we could do in a month! Not only are they officially cowboys & cowgirls with their new boots and hats – but they now have amazing memories with all their teen friends! They can’t stop talking about it. 🙂

Thanks to Marla & team for spoiling them rotten! Thanks to PVBC for caring so deeply about our family and our ministry! We left so incredibly encouraged as we strengthened our friendships and our partnership there! You Kansas/Missouri folk ain’t too bad! 🙂
