Happy 4th of July!

Tonight we celebrated the 4th of July for the first time in our home! (Well outside the home 🙂 ). Jose did everything he could to make today a memorable day…. and it was!

We decided to have a cookout in our front yard. We normally do bonfires at the beach but today we wanted to do something extra special.

So we moved a few tables to our front yard, brought out the grill, & built a small fire. We also played music and were entertained by Asher, Levi, Gabriel, & Isebelle’s amazing dancing skills!

We had hot dogs, hamburgers, homemade buns, potato salad, chips, cokes, & cake. We also roasted marshmallows & made s’mores!

We shipped over a trunk full of fireworks last year. So we brought them out tonight! The kids also played with sparklers (which they kept calling sprinkles). I think the night was very relaxing – except for when there were 6 kids running around with sparklers!

It was a wonderful night of fellowshipping with Beth, Pierre, Rodner, & the interns. We definitely created some great family memories!

Here are some pictures & video clips of our celebration!
